I specialize in teaching adults. I emphasize music dynamics and interpretation, music reading, and proper technique. I have recording equipment in my piano studio, and I offer recording sessions to interested students. Students enjoy listening to and sharing their performances.

Teaching and playing piano has been an important part of my life. I have studied piano for many years, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the College of Music at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I also hold a Master of Science degree in Information Systems. A Boulder resident since 1981, I am a member of the Boulder Area Music Teachers Association (BAMTA), the Colorado State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA), and, the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
